ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying BA Graphic Design at Ravensbourne. Since an early age, design has always intrigued me: the way that an idea can be turned into reality. Currently I'm freelancing and working alongside other designers in a range of different fields.

The latest work includes (but not limiting to)

GQ Magazine , McDonalds , TV&Satellite Week , Horse & Hound , WhatDigitalCamera

Currently I am a Certified Adobe Student Rep with such a title you can be sure that you're not dealing with an amateur graphic designer. An amazing company like yours accoladed with such a level of professionalism and technicality, requires a designer, that's had experience.

EXPERIENCE.

Working alongside the title What Digital Camera was an amazing opportunity which I am truly grateful for. Not only did I get the chance to work on several spreads for various future issues but also managed to have a hands on experience with top of the range equipment including the best camera's currently available in the market. The majority of my work was published onto the magazine and still to this day it's hard to believe that I played a part in designing for one of the biggest if not the biggest camera magazine in the UK.

Working for another great title was truly an amazing opportunity that was offered to me. I worked alongside the Art Director ensuring that I worked on several live spreads and was able to involve my own creative mind when it came to thinking about layout and positioning, which strengthened my understanding in the magazine industry and in a way has shaped me to the graphic designer

that I am today.

I worked on this title creating magazine spreads for the current and future issues, worked alongside the Creative Director to produce an in-house style spread which ended up to be published on the actual magazine itself. Horse & Hound was outside my comfort zone due to the core subject however never the less I completed the work to a professional standard and that is what's important.

IT TECHNICIAN

I was part of the IT Technician Team for 1 or 2 months aiding and repairing customers machines. This included repairing laptops, repairing desktops and making sure that the customer is satisfied with the repair undertaken on the machine. Although this was not design related, it broadened my experience and gave me a taste of how IT Technicians work and the overall environment of an existing repair shop.

JULY 2014

WALWORTH ACADEMY

TEMPORARY DESIGNER

I worked with Walworth academy and alongside the IT Manager. The academy was the venue in which Girls Summit 2014 was hosted, a huge event in which various woman within the industry came as a collective to prevent Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) happening in the world. The event was broadcasted and guests included

UK's prime minister David Cameron

NOVEMBER 2014

SACRED HEART

TEMPORARY DESIGNER

As Sacred Heart recently opened it's doors to the new building for the school to develop and create the leaders of tomorrow, the headteacher asked me if I was able to design a brochure for the event. Working each day until the early morning, I completed the brochure and exceeded expectations. 200+ copies of my work printed for the whole school and community to see, what a great feeling!

RGA LONDON

SHADOWING ART DIRECTOR

RGA London is one of the best design agencies available in London who create work for various clients such as Dre Beats Music , Microsoft , Nike , Mastercard , L'oreal , Samsung and many more! (more can be found here) I was given the opportunity to work on a live brief for McDonalds

which is still yet to be released out the public.

Really grateful for the opportunity and was great to

work with such a great designer!

SEPTEMBER 2015

GQ MAGAZINE

SHADOWING ART DIRECTOR

Having the chance to work with GQ was amazing. I worked on several live spreads aswell as giving my own personal view on stories that may be of interest to be added onto the website. I worked alongside the junior designer in which I was able to express my ideas and creativity through multiple single/double page spreads. I worked on several pieces relating to GQ Men Of The Year 2015 and had the chance to see Samuel L Jackson at the office.
